Mears Ashby Village Hall
Our hall is a beautifully restored 19th Century formerly used as village school, tastefully renovated and re-opened in 2003 with money raised from villagers and grants from the National Lottery and the then Wellingborough Council.
The large main hall with its newly installed ceiling and lighting is enhanced by an extension to the side. There is a fully functioning kitchen, small upstairs community room an entrance lobby cloakroom and with fully accessible toilets.
Set in quiet rural surroundings the peaceful village of Mears Ashby which sits between main County towns, Wellingborough (3.5miles), Kettering (7.4miles) and Northampton (6.3 miles).
Mears Ashby Community
We have great facilities for all types of activities, and the building has become increasingly popular hosting events such as weddings, christenings, birthdays, along with many other celebratory functions. Regular activity clubs also benefit from the flexible space including Pilates, Scout Group, Table Tennis, Yoga and Whist.
Due to our recently installed Wi-Fi, we are now able to accommodate commercial meetings for business and training sessions.
The Village Hall doubles as a Polling Station and is a space for Community meetings.
We ask all our hirers to be respectful of our local residents when parking, arriving and leaving events.
